Marlon Bell is a staff member that we look forward to working with each and every day. His official job is school retention officer, but he wears many hats, including coaching basketball. He tirelessly works with students on many levels, whether that is checking on grades, looking at their behavior or keeping them on track in attendance. Marlon constantly makes contacts with parents, teachers, coaches and administrators. Whatever it takes he does. Marlon also has recently collaborated with the OHS PTO in forming a student mentoring group. Many interested educational stakeholders are investing hours working with students that need a little boost or a tender touch to help them become successful in high school. We are grateful for the work that Marlon does at OHS and know that he truly does make a difference in many young lives.
