“I would like to thank everyone for the chance to be bus driver of the week. I was totally shocked when I heard about it. I do love to spoil my students, because they are each very special to me.”
Lydia Mathis has been driving for the oxford school district for the past 3 years. She is has a complicated route, yet still runs it like it is no problem. She has very well behaved students on her bus, as she tends to spoil them during the holidays. She gives them candy and drinks, to let them know she cares about each and every one of her students. Lydia never complains when there is something new which the drivers have to do. She always brings her bus in at the first sign of trouble so there won’t be a break down to cause havoc on her route. Lydia does a very good job driving a bus for the district. She is a real asset to the Oxford School District transportation team.
