B. C. Lewis
Custodian
Oxford High School
Some people call him Mr. B.C.; others might call him Mr. Clyde; but everyone who knows him at OHS calls him a great custodian. B.C. “Clyde” Lewis has been employed by Oxford School District for five years, and said he “gives it his all” every day when he comes in from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. Monday through Friday. He finds a great reward in meeting students and teachers as he goes about his job, which encompasses cleaning, sweeping, picking up, and in general, making OHS a pleasant, attractive, and inviting school. Mr. Lewis takes pride in tasks such as waxing the floors, a chore that takes all summer while the students are out, but, according to Mr. Lewis, “makes it look good” for people when they return.
Oxford High School Assistant Principal Ulysses Howell said, “Mr. Lewis is a very dependable and trustworthy employee. We can always depend on him to do a great job.”
