Ashley Vaughn

Ashley Vaughn

Teacher Assistant
Scott Center

“I just feel so privileged and blessed to be selected as the Employee of the Week for the Scott Center. I would like to thank everyone that voted for me.”

Ashley Vaughn is currently working on completing her first year as a teacher assistant in the Developmentally Delayed class at Scott Center. Upon first sight, one would have to conclude that Ashley’s pleasant smile and calm demeanor are perhaps the two most undeniable trademarks that she possesses. She is always even-tempered and willing to lend a helping hand whenever and wherever it is needed. Her colleagues describe her as hard-working, self-starting, punctual, and easy to get along with. Her great sense of humor and genuine concern for the children truly compliment her in her role at Scott Center.

Ashley is by no means new at working in the capacity of assisting individuals that sometimes require a little extra care. She is also employed as a direct care worker at the Oxford Female Group Home, where she serves individuals at the other end of the age spectrum. Without reservation, we are certainly proud to seize this opportunity to honor and recognize Ashley Vaughn as Scott Center's selection for Employee of the Week.
