Oxford High School
“I want to start by giving a HUGE thank you to my team at OHS. There aren't enough words for how grateful I am for the support, pep-talks, tears and laughs. Many of us are juggling more than we ever imagined we could. This year hasn't been easy, but the little victories are the reason we all keep pushing ourselves and our students to be the best we all can be. I'm feeling extra grateful, thankful, and blessed to work where I do and with who I do. Go Chargers!”
The Oxford School District is proud to recognize Oxford High School math teacher Lindsay Parker as our Employee of the Week. Ms. Parker helps make our district a great place to work and learn.
Here’s what Oxford High School has to say about Ms. Parker:
“I teach across the hall from Ms. Parker, and she is always willing to help me with any issues that arise. I’m a new teacher to the district, and she has been a life saver! She also has over 40 virtual students in addition to the face-to-face students that are in her classroom. It is no easy feat to successfully teach both groups simultaneously, but she does it, and does it well.”
“There’s really not enough room to express why Lindsay Parker deserves this. There are few other teachers at OHS that go as far above and beyond as Ms. Parker does. Her drive is unrelenting, and she persists even in the toughest conditions. Lindsay Parker is exceptional.”
“Ms. Parker is so passionate about supporting her students! Her compassion and integrity are apparent in everything she does!”
“Lindsay goes way above and beyond to reach her students, both inside and out of class. She attends their games, meets with them in her off time, and is always willing to help any student or teacher on campus.”
“Lindsay does an outstanding job preparing her students for the Algebra I state test.”
“Ms. Parker has been very helpful with assisting our EL (English Learner) students.”
“She always goes above and beyond to help her peers. She is willing to lend a hand in every situation, even if it means more work on her part.”
“Ms. Parker works very hard to connect with her children.”
“Ms. Parker is such a hard worker and very knowledgeable. She willingly offers her expertise to others. She not only goes above and beyond to help her own students, but offers help to any student who needs it.”
“Ms. Parker goes above and beyond to see ALL of her students succeed. It is an inspiration to us as teachers to see her level of care and concern for our babies.”
Congratulations, Ms. Parker! You’re a great representative of the #ChargerNation.
