“I am very grateful for the recognition. I enjoy my position in maintaining the facilities and creating a better learning environment.”
The Oxford School District is proud to recognize Maintenance Specialist John Hurdle as our Employee of the Week for School Services. Mr. Hurdle helps make our district a great place to work and learn.
Here’s what Director of School Services Sonny Brownlee has to say about Mr. Hurdle:
“John has been diligent in his job responsibilities for repairing the roof top air condition units throughout the district. His commitment since school started this semester during the 100+ temperatures encountered on the roofs while the maintenance department has been understaffed has been invaluable. John is notorious to check and recheck his work after repairing the equipment to insure that the instructional areas are cooling. In addition to his HVAC duties, John has been assigned as the District locksmith to cut and issue keys, and to repair locks and door hardware throughout the district.”
Congratulations, Mr. Hurdle! You’re a great representative of the #ChargerNation.
