Oxford Middle School
“Wow! Thanks OMS family. Middle School is often a difficult time and I try to be much more than a nurse to my students. With that being said, there sure is nothing like being called Nurse Phillips around town!”
The Oxford School District is proud to recognize Oxford Middle School nurse Helen Phillips as our Employee of the Week. Nurse Phillips helps make our district a great place to work and learn.
Here’s what Oxford Middle School has to say about Nurse Phillips:
“Nurse Phillips knows her patients well. She is very aware of their physical, social, and emotional needs. She handles each student with care and concern. It is difficult to keep the students out of her office. They love her so much.”
“Helen is one of the busiest people in the building. She goes above and beyond to take care of the students and staff at OMS. Helen is very intelligent and takes every precaution to make sure everyone is well at Oxford Middle School.”
“She is so patient with the students and takes her job very seriously.”
“Nurse Phillips takes care of the whole school - students, teachers, admin, EVERYONE. She conducts every interaction with the utmost professionalism while at the same time showing kindness and care. She is very deserving of this award!”
“She always is so kind, and does so much for the students at our school. She makes sure that they have what they need both in school and out of school.”
“Nurse Phillips does a great job interacting with all our kids and taking care of their physical needs. She goes above and beyond her job duties every single day!”
“Nurse Phillips is always willing to lend a helping hand to students or teachers. She consistently goes above and beyond the typical duties of a school nurse and is a huge asset to OMS.”
Congratulations, Nurse Phillips! You’re a great representative of the #ChargerNation.
