“I am very honored and grateful for being chosen Scott Center’s Employee of the Week. There are so many others who also deserve and could have been chosen for this honor. Every day at work is a new day to continue to put my best foot forward. It is a blessing for me to work with such great students and staff here at Scott Center. Thanks for the honor.”
The Oxford School District is proud to recognize Scott Center teacher assistant Sheila Tyson as our Employee of the Week. Ms. Tyson helps make our district a great place to work and learn.
Here’s what the Scott Center has to say about Ms. Tyson:
“Shelia is a very hard, dedicated worker who takes initiative not only to show that she knows her job but also that she loves what she does. Shelia is a well deserving candidate for Employee of the Week.”
“She helps others even when not asked to do so. She truly goes above and beyond.”
“She’s always willing to lend a helping hand!”
“Ms. Sheila is really good with the students and takes her job seriously. You never hear her complain, and she is always smiling.”
“Sheila is very deserving of this recognition for many reasons. She has a positive attitude and is ALWAYS willing to lend a hand when needed. Because Sheila has been at Scott Center longer than almost anyone else, she is able to assist new employees (and old ☺) in getting to know the students and how best to work with them in feeding, calming them down, etc. Sheila is able to do this because of her extensive experience and knowledge in the field and of the students. It is a pleasure to work with her!”
“She is always going the extra mile for students and staff, and she does so with a smile.”
Congratulations, Ms. Tyson! You’re a great representative of the #ChargerNation.
