Oxford, Mississippi (May 22, 2019) — On Monday, the OSD Board of Trustees approved a proposal from the YMCA to provide the before/after-school program for the Oxford School District. Their program will replace the current after-school program that has been managed by the district. The YMCA will own and operate all aspects of the after-school program, including renting the facilities on our campus.
The YMCA will strengthen the services with snow day coverage, summer day camps, and holiday camps. No child or family is turned away for an inability to pay! Their program will offer scholarships, sliding fee scales, fee assistance, and accepts DHS Vouchers.
