LaTeasha Blackmon presented certificate of appreciation during March Regular Board of Trustees Meeting

Oxford, Mississippi (April 28, 2017)—The Oxford School District (OSD) Board of Trustees recognized OSD Superintendent Assistant and Board Clerk LaTeasha Blackmon during the March regular board meeting by presenting her a certificate during School District Administrative Assistants and Board Clerks Appreciation Week, which is April 23-29, 2017.

Blackmon was honored for her dedicated commitment to the leadership team of the school board and superintendent exhibited by high professional standards in fulfilling the duties associated with promoting high student achievement and continuous service to the children, parents, and staff of the Oxford School District.

“Mrs. Blackmon is a true professional; her calm and pleasing demeanor is an asset to our school district,” said OSD Superintendent Brian Harvey. “She serves as an example of what ‘first in class’ stands for.”

Blackmon has served in her present professional position for eight years and has been with the Oxford School District for a total of 17 years.
