Oxford, Mississippi (April 25, 2022) — The Burger King Foundation awards over $4.5 Million in scholarships across the U.S. and Canada, bringing their total over the last decade to $35 Million. In Oxford, Mississippi, they awarded one of three $50,0000 James W. McLamore WHOPPER™ Scholarships to Rosemary Frugé, a high school senior at Oxford High School. A celebration for the student was held on April 22nd, 2022, that included a cheque presentation and remarks from Coach Bruce Taylor and Coach Logan Dodson to congratulate the scholarship recipient.
