Back-to-School Information

School starts on Friday, August 6th. Listed below are a few important dates and information for all students and parents. We will continue to keep you updated as we draw closer to the first day of school!

Bus Routes

The Oxford School District bus routes and estimated pickup times/drop-off times are now available for you to view on our website. Click the link below and enter your street to see your pickup/dropoff times. As always, bus route times will take a few weeks to get adjusted. Thank you for being patient.

Does your child need to be picked up or dropped off at an address different from your home?
In order to verify your identity, you must come in person to the OSD Transportation Dept. (located 26 County Road 1032) Bring a valid driver's license between the hours of 7:30 am-11:30 am and 12:30 pm-4:30 pm.

Registration MUST be completed before bus routes are assigned. Visit to register.

Technology Fees and Fines

All students will be assigned a device for the 2021-2022 school year. Click here for details on technology fees, fines, and other important information.

Staggered Start at Bramlett Elementary

As in years past, PreK and Kindergarten students will observe a staggered start. This helps get our youngest learners settled in a new place with bathrooms, a cafeteria, and finding their way around.

  • Friday, August 6th: BOYS ONLY (PreK and Kindergarten)
  • Monday, August 9th: GIRLS ONLY (PreK and Kindergarten)
  • Tuesday, August 10th: ALL STUDENTS (PreK and Kindergarten)

Class Assignments

Parents can access PowerSchool to view their child's schedule on the following dates:

  • PreK- 6th Grades:
    Teachers on July 29th
    Parents on July 30th
  • 7th-12th Grades:
    Teachers & Parents on July 28th

We Need You to Apply!

Oxford School District receives federal funding using data from the USDA National Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack Programs. We are asking ALL parents to complete the application for Free& Reduced Lunch, regardless of their income.

Parents must fill out a new online application EVERY SCHOOL YEAR even if their children qualified for the program last school year.

Don't Forget Open House- Aug 3rd

Open House for the 2021-2022 school year is on Tuesday, August 3rd. Take advantage of this opportunity to tour campus, visit classrooms, and meet teachers before the first day of school!

Donate School Supplies

Help STUFF THE BUS with the OSD Family Support Center and LOU Reads. Drop off school supply donations anytime between 9 am-1 pm on Wednesday, July 21st. Look for the LOU Literacy Bus at Oxford Middle School!

Donations to consider: pencils, markers, glue sticks nap mats, backpacks, zipper pouches, crayons, scissors, erasers, highlighters, 3-ring binders, notebook paper, composition notebooks, blue or black pens, headphones.

*We will not accept any used items.

Back-to-School Bash!

The OSD Family Support Center invites you to our Back-to-School Bash THIS SATURDAY, July 31st from 9am-11am, located at 222 Bramlett Blvd. 

We will be giving away free school supplies (while they last). Kids can enjoy a bounce house and snow cones while parents visit with the Charger Health & Wellness Clinic and get help with registration or PowerSchool. We will have staff on hand to help answer your back-to-school questions! 

Tax-Free Weekend

The 2021 Sales Tax Holiday takes place between 12:01 A.M. Friday, July 30, 2021 and 12:00 Midnight Saturday, July 31, 2021.

Purchase certain items without having to pay the 7% state sales tax. Saturday. Items such as clothing, footwear, and school supplies are included.
