Oxford, Mississippi (April 7, 2021) — Oxford Intermediate School Assistant Principal, Kendedrick Jones, has been named Top 50 Under 40 Honoree by the Mississippi Business Journal.
Nominated for his work with United Way of Oxford-Lafayette County, Jones is slated as President-Elect for 2022. He has served as the chair of the Education Committee and VP for Community Impact. Jones is a musician and serves as a pianist for Philadelphia MB Church where he also helps with youth ministry.
“While I am humbled and honored to be recognized as one of Mississippi Business Journal’s Top 50 Under 40, it’s those I serve that inspire me to continue doing what I can to help others grow and succeed,” said Jones.
Jones began working in the Oxford School District in 2013 as a biology teacher at Oxford High School. As an administrator, he served two years as Assistant Principal at Bramlett Elementary and is currently in his second year at Oxford Intermediate School.
