Oxford, Mississippi (July 6, 2020) — The Board of Trustees and the administration of the Oxford School District is committed to doing all we can to get back into a routine of a normal school year given the circumstances of COVID-19.
As promised, we have compiled the operational details for the start of the 2020-2021 school year in a document for your review. This document is for all stakeholders- students, families, teachers, and staff. While we all hope these procedures will be short-term, the district will communicate major changes to this information as needed.
All parents who have fully registered their students for the 2020-2021 school year should have received an email with the link to the Fall Instructional Preference Survey. This survey allows parents to select in-person or online instruction for the first nine-week period. If you have not done so, submit your Fall Instructional Preference Survey for each of your children by Friday, July 10th. Your decision is for the first 9-weeks only. Families will have the opportunity to re-evaluate prior to the second 9-week period.
The Oxford School District is an equal opportunity employer. It is the policy of the Oxford School District Board of Trustees not to discriminate on the basis of age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin or disability in its educational programs, activities or employment practices.
