Oxford High School Class of 2020 Valedictorian and Salutatorian

Oxford, Mississippi (April 3, 2020) — Oxford High School has announced the top two students representing the Class of 2020 at graduation in May- the Valedictorian, Edward Hu and Salutatorian, Lily Hemmins.

The graduation ceremony originally planned for May 15, 2020, at the Tad Smith Coliseum will be dependent on the social distancing protocols in place for the Covid-19 pandemic. "Soon, we will begin our contingency plans for the commencement ceremony and seeking student and parental input on those ideas. We hope that we do not have to use the contingency plan and our seniors get the honor of walking across the stage in the Tad Pad as planned. The Class of 2020 is braving circumstances that we could have never imagined,” said Noah Hamilton, OHS Principal.
