Oxford Elementary Counselor Named Mississippi School Counselor of Year
Oxford, Mississippi (November 9, 2018) — Oxford Elementary Counselor, Amy King, was named Mississippi Counseling Association's School Counselor of the Year! Nominated for her constant commitment to her field through work with children, as well as work with the University of Mississippi,King has served as a counselor in The Oxford School District since 1994.
King was nominated by Dr. Amanda Winburn, her professor and mentor, as well as former supervisees Alanna Dotson Fairley and Liz Folkes for “going above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of before herself and always strives to be better.”
