Oxford Charger Cheerleaders Win National Championship

Oxford, Mississippi (February 13, 2017)—The Oxford Charger Cheerleaders claimed their first national championship title in Orlando, Florida, during the Universal Cheer Association Game Day National Championship competition. The Oxford Chargers won first place in the Medium Varsity division at the national competition.

Oxford High School (OHS) cheerleaders are the spirit leaders of OHS: from pep rallies to sideline cheering to sign-painting, they love their Chargers. Oxford Cheerleading is composed of three squads: varsity, freshman, and a competition squad composed of a mixture of girls from both sideline squads.

Oxford High School Cheer sponsors are Allison Wally, varsity coach, and Nicole Roberson, freshman coach.
