Head School District Nurse Meg Hayden, R.N., Receives National Board Certified School Nurse Certificate
Oxford School District Nurse Meg Hayden, R.N., is in her third year at Oxford High School as the high school and school district lead nurse, but it did not take her long to successfully pursue national distinction this summer. She is one of only three nurses in Mississippi to achieve recognition as a National Board Certified School Nurse during the 2013-2014 school year.
Hayden joins the ranks of only 1.2 percent of all school nurses in Mississippi and less than 3,500 school nurses nationwide.
