Zeta Phi Beta Scholarships
Application deadline: March 29, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $500.The Mu Chi Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. offers educational scholarships for graduating high school seniors. The Academic, Community Service, and Need-based Scholarships are offered to Lafayette, Oxford, Coffeeville, and Water Valley High School students who will be attending a community college or 4-year university to further their education in the 2024 Fall Semester. The Academic Scholarship requires a 3.0 or higher and is restricted to females only. The Community Service Scholarship requires a minimum of 2.0 GPA and the Need-Based Scholarship requires a 2.0. Latino Actuaries Scholarship Program
Application deadline: March 31, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $7,500.The Organization of Latino Actuaries furthers its mission of increasing the number of Latina actuaries by awarding academic scholarships to students who will be attending a U.S. college/university next school year and are interested in actuarial profession.

AFSA High School Essay Contest
Application deadline: April 1, 2024.
Scholarship amount: Up to $2,500.The AFSA High School Essay Contest is open to high school students. To be considered, applicants must write an essay identifying how members of the foreign service work with other civilian parts of the U.S. government to promote peace, national security, and economic prosperity.

Jack and Julie Narcolepsy Scholarship
Application deadline: April 1, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $1,000.To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, the applicant must be a high school senior starting your first semester of college and have a diagnosis of narcolepsy or idiopathic hypersomnia.

Bill and Jane Henderson for Women with Grit and Determination
Application deadline: April 2, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $500.Applicant must be a female senior of Oxford High School. The student must have 2.5 GPA or better and have been admitted to college.

Dr. Kim Stasny Good Citizen Scholarship
Application deadline: April 2, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $500.Applicants must be a graduating senior of Oxford High School. They must have a 2.5 grade point average or better and be admitted to a college or university.

Mistie Robinson Future Educator Scholarship
Application deadline: April 2, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $500.Applicants must be a graduating senior of Oxford High School and plan on majoring in the field of education. Student should also be accepted into a Mississippi college or university.

The American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship Program
Application deadline: April 6, 2024.
Scholarship amount: varies.Talk your way to college! The American Legion, Department of Mississippi, is sponsoring a “Constitutional Speech Contest”. Students in grades 9-12 are eligible to participate.

Murray and Emma Dixon Scholarship
Application deadline: April 7, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $1,000.The Murray and Emma Dixon Memorial Scholarship was established in 2020 following the death of Murray L. Dixon, a former educator and community leader. This scholarship aims to support students from Lafayette and Yalobusha Counties pursuing college degrees in Education or STEM fields.

Dr. Lennette J. Ivy Scholarship
Application deadline: April 9, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $500.This scholarship recognizes deserving high school seniors who excel in leadership, academics, and community service. The students provide a written essay that details their involvement in the community and school programs. The scholarships participants are chosen from Oxford High School and Lafayette County High School. Lennette Ivy served as a department chair at the University of Mississippi Communicative Disorders Department. She was a dedicated life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

Army Scholarship Foundation
Application deadline: April 15, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $1,000.To be eligible for the Army Scholarship, the applicant must be the son or daughter of regular active duty, active duty Reserve, or active duty National Guard U.S. Army members in good standing.

Mary Laine Thames Memorial Scholarship
Application deadline: April 15, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $500 to $1,000.The Mary Laine Thames Memorial Scholarship is funded by Oxford, MS Girl Scout Troop #13616 and private donors. Number and amount of scholarship varies as funds allow. This scholarship will be awarded to female student residents of Lafayette and Madison Counties who exemplify love, kindness, compassion, and dedication to making the world a better place.

The Barron Prize
Application deadline: April 15, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $10,000.The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes celebrates inspiring, public-spirited young people from diverse backgrounds all across North America. Each year, the Barron Prize honors 25 outstanding young leaders ages 8 to 18 who have made a significant positive difference to people and the environment.

Mississippi Construction Education Foundation / Mississippi State Board of Contractors Scholarship
Application deadline: April 19, 2024.
Scholarship amount: Up to $500.This scholarship is open to seniors eligible to graduate and on track to enroll and be accepted in a construction or manufacturing-related degree program in a SACS-accredited community college, four-year college or university, or MCEF apprenticeship program.

Lift Parts Express Scholarship

Scholarship amount: $500.Applicants must be a high school senior and enrolled in college by the Fall of 2024.

ASHRAE High School Senior Scholarships
Application deadline: May 1, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $3,000.Four one-year $3000 scholarships are available to undergraduate students enrolled full-time I their first year of college in a pre-engineering, engineering technology program leading to a bachelor’s degree in a course of study that traditionally has been a preparatory curriculum for the HVAC&R profession. Applicants must be high school seniors with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0.

Alys Robinson Stephens Alumni
Application deadline: varies.
Scholarship amount: one-time $1,000 award.To be eligible for the Alys Robinson Stephens Performing Arts Scholarship, applicants must be high school seniors/ graduates and accepted to UAB. There are no applications for this scholarship: via audition and testing, the student must prove to be of substantial talent and show promise for continued excellence in music.

Professional Tennis Management Scholarships
Application deadline: varies.
Scholarship amount: two $10,000 awards.The USTA Foundation offers a scholarship targeting those High School seniors who exhibit a passion for tennis and plan on seeing a Professional Tennis Management degree at one of the schools offering this program.

Rust College Honor Track Scholarship
Application deadline: varies.
Scholarship amount: $50,000.The Honors Track Scholarship offers full academic scholarship to first-time freshmen only. Applicants must rank in the top 10% of their high school graduating class and have a minimum 3.5 GPA. Accepted students must maintain a 3.5 GPA while at Rust. Applicants must also have a minimum score of 22 on the ACT or 1030 on the SAT.

Duck Tape®: Stuck at Prom Scholarship
Application deadline: July 21, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $10,000.To be eligible to apply, students should create and wear original and unique prom wear using Duck Brand® duct tape and/or Duck Brand® crafting tape. Applicants should submit photos of their prom creation for the chance to win $10,000.

Scholarship amount: $2,500 per year.Student must have a 29 on the ACT and a 3.5 GPA.

Mississippi Tuition Assistance Grant (MTAG)
Application opens: October 1.
Application deadline: September 15.
Scholarship amount: $500 per year for freshmen and sophomores; $1,000 per year for juniors and seniors.Student must be a legal resident of MS for one year prior to application. The student must also have a 2.5 grade point average or higher and minimum of 15 on the ACT.
