Parents must complete two required steps for their student to be considered enrolled in the Oxford School District:
- Register child for school online.
- Provide required registration documents.
New this year:- Documents for returning students must be provided in person at the Document Drop-off Event (July 10-14), not during online registration.
- Documents for new students will be uploaded at the time of online registration.
- A guardian is required to be present with a valid driver's license or government-issued photo identification during registration.
NOTE: Students will not be issued a class schedule for the 2023-2024 school year until both of the above steps are complete.

Instructions for Returning Students
NOTE: Returning students are those who attended the Oxford School District at the end of the 2022-2023 school year.
If your child will be a returning student, you can enroll your child for the 2023-2024 school year by following the two steps below.
Step 1: Register Online
Registration for students returning in the 2023-2024 school year opens online Monday, July 10-14, 2023, at 8 a.m.
Parents/Guardians of returning students will use the same log-in credentials (email and password) from the 2022-2023 school year.
- If you have forgotten your password, click on the “Forgot your password?” link. Returning students should NOT click on the link for “If you do NOT have an account” — that is only for new students.
- Our Student Registration Department offers technology support for families who need access to these services at no cost. The Student Registration office is located at 1637 Hwy 30 East.

Step 2: Required Documents
All returning students will be required to submit proofs of residency in-person this year at our Document Dropoff Event on July 10-14, 2023 in the gymnasium at 1637 Highway 30 East. Document drop-off will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
Required registration documents* for returning students are:
*NOTE: Any document with a P.O. box as an address will NOT be accepted by school officials.
- Current Mississippi 121 Immunization Records are required for all 7th graders and new students. Child’s updated Mississippi 121 Immunization Record marked “requirements met for K4-6th grade attendance” or “requirements met for 7th-12th grade attendance.”
- Proofs of residency are required to be submitted at the document drop-off event on July 10-14, 2023 in the gymnasium at 1637 Highway 30 East. Document drop-off will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Residency will be verified by the Student Registration Department. (View board policy JBCAA – Verification of Residence.)
NOTE: the parent/guardian’s name and address on each of these items must be the same.- Any one (1) of the following documents:
- Mortgage document from the month of or month prior to registration;
- Property deed;
- Property tax document for the most recent tax year;
- Filed Homestead Exemption Application form;
- A current apartment or home lease with an expiration date/term of agreement; or
- Any other residency documentation that will objectively and unequivocally establish that the parent or legal guardian resides within the school district as determined by the director of student registration, superintendent, or designee.
- AND any one (1) of the following documents:
- Utility bill (water, gas, electricity, solid waste, TV cable, internet, or landline phone) for service in the month of or month prior to registration (outdated utility bills will not be accepted);
- Valid Mississippi Driver’s license or Mississippi identification card;
- Valid Mississippi automobile registration;
- Affidavit and/or personal visit by a designated school district official (affidavit forms are available in the Student Registration office located at 1637 Highway 30 East); or
- Any other residency documentation/verification that will objectively and unequivocally establish that the parent or legal guardian resides within the school district as determined by the registration coordinator, superintendent, or designee.
- Any one (1) of the following documents:

Instructions for New Students
NOTE: New students are those who did not attend the Oxford School District at the end of the 2022-2023 school year.
If your child will be a new student, you can enroll your child for the 2023-2024 school year by following the two steps below.
Step 1: Online Registration
Registration for students new to the district in the 2023-2024 school year opens Monday, June 5, 2023, at 8 a.m.
Registration for new students is now open!
Step 2: Required Documents
All documents will be uploaded into your application at the time of registration. The Student Registration Department will verify residency for all new students.
Required registration documents* for new students are:
*NOTE: Any document with a P.O. box as an address will NOT be accepted by school officials.
- Child’s original birth certificate
- Current Mississippi 121 Immunization Records are required for all new students and 7th graders. Child’s updated Mississippi 121 Immunization Record marked “requirements met for K4-6th grade attendance” or “requirements met for 7th-12th grade attendance.”
