The Oxford School District is proud to recognize Oxford High School teacher Tuesday Arizaga as our Employee of the Week. Mrs. Arizaga helps make our district a great place to work and learn.

Ms. Arizaga advocates for her students and helps them in all walks of life. She is a wonderful support for our English language learners.

Arizaga is a great asset to OHS! She is knowledgeable in many areas and is always willing to help. She enjoys what she does and it shows.

Ms. Arizaga gives tirelessly to the E.L. population both in and out of school. The students respect her, and the teachers who have the privilege to work with her students appreciate the support and guidance she provides.

She works really well with students. They feel very comfortable going to her with any type of situation, even with family matters. They trust her and that is very important when it comes to student-teacher relationships.

She’s an extremely hard worker. She’s concerned about her students. She doesn’t complain. On a daily basis she performs the work load of multiple teachers. Definitely, a reason to be recognized.

I worked with Ms. Arizaga when I was at the high school. She was always very helpful to me when I needed her to speak with E.L. students and parents. We always worked on their schedules together to make sure they were successful. She is very passionate about helping her students succeed.

Ms. Arizaga is an amazing teacher. She is especially passionate about our E.L. population. Her care and concern for this population of students is exemplary. She also pours herself into teaching Spanish to our OHS students in her class. She is very much deserving of this honor.

Tuesday works so well with the E.L. students. She is our go-to resource for all things E.L.
