Being selected employee of the week makes me feel happy and that I am doing a good job. Being a bus driver provides you with flexibility to take care of things outside of work. It also makes you feel you are contributing to a larger purpose. Having a good boss, fair pay, and liking the people you work with makes this a great job to have.

 

The Oxford School District is proud to recognize school bus driver Jane Tonos as our Employee of the Week for the Department of Transportation. Ms. Tonos helps make our district a great place to work and learn.

Here’s what Transportation Supervisor Scott Cofer has to say about Ms. Tonos:

Jane Tonos was selected as employee of the week for being a very dependable driver that is always willing to help out where she is needed. Jane currently drives a 6-12 route for the Oxford School District and assumes a portion of transporting the CTE students throughout the day. She takes the time to get to know the children she transports and their needs while providing safe transportation to and from school.
