The Oxford School District is proud to recognize Della Davidson Elementary School librarian Amanda Bennett as our Employee of the Week. Ms. Bennett helps make our district a great place to work and learn.

“Mrs. Bennett has worked tirelessly to ensure that both our face-to-face and virtual students have access to books, AR, and log-in information on top of creating awesome lessons for her students.”

“Mrs. Bennett has acclimated to serving her students so well by continuing to provide them with endless resources and instruction related to books in the library, ultimately traveling daily to classrooms with a traveling cart, all while having a smile on her face and maintaining her sense of humor.”

“The library has a challenging year ahead. A lot more work is going on behind the scenes than what is seen on the surface. Mrs. Bennet is doing an astounding job staying positive and shining her light onto the students and coworkers.”

“Mrs. Bennett has done an amazing job with keeping up with the in-person and virtual students’ book needs as well as teaching quality lessons while pushing a cart into each classroom.”

“She is working harder than what we all can see! The library is super hectic and overloaded with extra steps to keep everyone safe. Bennet is doing a great job staying on top of it while keeping a positive attitude.”

“Amanda has gone above and beyond to make books and AR available to the students both in person and virtually! She has done everything to make sure students have books and that all books are ‘quarantined’ the mandated amount of time to ensure the safety of the students. She rolls her cart with all needed materials up and down the halls to each classroom for their library special with a great attitude and a smile!”
