Louis Brummett
Transportation Supervisor
Central Office
“I was surprised to be selected as employee of the week. I want to thank everyone. Its an honor to have been chosen. Everyday is a new challenge, and that's what makes the job so interesting. There is never a dull day in the transportation department.”
Louis started working for the Oxford School District in 2001. His first job in the district was a bus driver, and later worked as a mechanic. He was promoted to transportation supervisor in 2007. Louis does an outstanding job in his supervisor position. He is very dedicated to the job of knowing all of the bus routes and times, arriving at work before the buses run in the mornings, staying until all buses have unloaded all students in the afternoons, making sure there are drivers and buses for field trips, and supervising the maintenance of the vehicle fleet. The Oxford School District is fortunate to have Louis as the transportation supervisor.
