Melissa Cox is currently completing her first year as the teacher of the Developmentally Delayed class at the Scott Center. Although she earns the title of being the newest faculty member at the Scott Center, she is certainly not new to the business of shaping young minds. Mrs. Cox has a cumulative total of twenty-seven years of teaching experience, of which, twenty-six of those years have been spent with the Oxford School District in various teaching assignments. Her colleagues have described her as professional in her demeanor, student-centered in her approaches, and experienced in her practices. It is with great enthusiasm that we recognize Mrs. Cox as the Employee of the Week representative for the Scott Center.
