Roland Barth, a former Harvard Professor, would describe her as a Teacher Leader.  During the summer months, on the week-ends and beyond the normal custodial hours, you will find this Teacher Leader working smart.  When she attends professional development workshops, you will see her using materials from these workshops in her classroom and sharing results within her professional learning community as she discusses ways in which she builds success for her students.  She is very dedicated and is always practicing her craft of educating others.  She is eager to serve and assist in anyway possible.

She understands how children learn, uses a variety of teaching strategies to differentiate instruction for those students who are ahead and who are "at promise", and inspires children to reach their maximum potential. This quiet, calm and even-tempered teacher rolls with the flow.  She is a lady of few words and when she speaks people listen.
