Yolanda Underwood has most assuredly proven to be a great addition to the Oxford Learning Center staff.  She is currently completing her first year as the Science teacher at OLC. Her classes are continuously filled with energy, enthusiasm, and suspense.  Her humor coupled with her inquiry-based approaches to learning really appeal to the genre of students assigned to OLC. Her coworkers have described her as one who is friendly with a contagious sense of humor.  It is evident that Ms. Underwood really cares for the students and tries a variety of approaches when faced with difficult situations. As a teacher, Ms. Underwood is committed to life-long learning which is evident in her participation in various educational experiences. It is with great enthusiasm that we recognize Yolanda Underwood as the Employee of the Week selection for the Oxford Learning Center.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at OLC.  The support and encouragement from my coworkers helps to make this job a true joy.  In some ways, The Peace Corps' motto describes teaching best as, "The Toughest Job You'll Ever Love!"
