Mr. Garner is an outstanding fifth grade math and science teacher.  He is very patient and caring for his students.  He helps those students who struggle with math to “see the light” and challenges those students who are ready to “fly.”  He is very dedicated to our school for extra activities.  He worked many long hours to make our DDES Year Book something very special.  DDES is lucky to have a teacher that gives each day to make it a special day for students.

What a wonderful surprise being selected employee of the week!  It's such a rewarding feeling coming to work everyday knowing that the students will enlighten my day, and help make each day challenging, and satisfying as I observe my students grow  in knowledge and maturity.  I really appreciate this recognition.
