Erin Siskey

Director of Health & Wellness
Oxford School District

Working in the Oxford School District has been a true gift for me and my family. My job has connected me to the Oxford community in ways I never anticipated. I am honored to work in a district that puts health, wellness, and safety first. I am surrounded by the best educators and staff in the state, and it is a true privilege to be recognized alongside such an exceptional group.

The Oxford School District is proud to recognize Erin Siskey, OSD Director of Health & Wellness, as our Employee of the Year for 2026. Nurse Siskey helps make our district a great place to work and learn.

Here’s what the school nurses had to say about Nurse Siskey:

This will be my fifth school year working alongside Nurse Siskey, and throughout that time she has consistently been just a phone call away. Her ability to support everyone around her with calmness, efficiency, and compassion is truly remarkable. No matter how much she has on her plate, she always makes herself available and never appears overwhelmed. I genuinely could not perform at my very best in my role without her unwavering support and guidance.

Bailey Sardisco, OECC Nurse

Nurse Siskey is an invaluable asset to our school district. Her leadership is demonstrated by her willingness to help out our team in any capacity. No job is ever beneath her. I'm thankful for the way she helps our team find creative solutions to the unique challenges that we face as medical professionals in a non-medical environment.

Amanda Blair, BES Nurse

It has been an honor to work for Nurse Siskey. Her supportive leadership style consistently encourages those around her while creating an environment where new ideas are welcomed and valued. She is intelligent, flexible, and always willing to support her staff, which makes her an exceptional leader!

Erica King, DDES Nurse

She has done an amazing job since stepping into the position. She has great leadership skills and organizational qualities. She supports all the nurses whenever there are issues that need attention. It feels good able to come to work knowing that we have a leader who goes above and beyond to make sure we have what we need to do our job.

Agena Boles, OHS Nurse

I wanted to personally share how grateful I am for the leadership and support Nurse Siskey has provided since stepping into the Director of Nurses role for our school district. Having worked alongside her as a coworker before she accepted this position, I already knew the kind of person she was — hardworking, compassionate, dependable, and deeply committed to both students and staff.

What has been especially meaningful is watching her carry those same qualities into leadership with such grace and professionalism. She leads with both strength and kindness, makes people feel supported and valued, and consistently goes above and beyond for our nursing team and district.

Transitions into leadership are not always easy, but she has handled this role exceptionally well and has made a truly positive impact. I believe her dedication, integrity, and heart for others deserve to be recognized, and I feel very fortunate to work under her leadership.

Nurse McEwen, OIS Nurse

Erin is exactly what you expect in leadership. She is always available for guidance, a debrief after a difficult situation, or to help lighten the load despite her own obligations. She is supportive in work and life endeavors, and she has become a friend as much as a director. Erin is so deserving to be OSD’s Employee of the Year and I’m proud to work alongside her.

Shelby Toole, CES Nurse
