The Oxford School District is proud to recognize Oxford Middle School resource officer (SRO) Cpl. Marcus Wilson as our Employee of the Month. Cpl. Wilson helps make our district a great place to work and learn.

Cpl. Wilson is the best of the best. He truly cares about the school, the staff, the students, and the district as a whole. He is committed to ensuring OMS is safe as he walks the halls constantly checking doors. He works really hard to build relationships with all of our students, which is huge when we actually walk through an emergency situation. With the relationships he's built, the students truly trust him. He cares about everyone in the building and is an amazing representation of OMS. We couldn't ask for a better SRO.

Cpl Wilson is an absolute fixture at OMS. Seeing him in the hallways and directing traffic brings a calmness and feeling of safety that is unmatched. He has an amazing rapport with students and works well with faculty. The way he pours in and encourages students is awesome. Cpl Wilson is what the textbooks teach about law enforcement. He protects and serves unselfishly. OMS is a safer and much better place because of him!
