Oxford, Mississippi — The College Board recently announced that Oxford High School has been named to the Advanced Placement® Program (AP®) School Honor Roll, earning a Bronze distinction for the third consecutive year.

Launched in 2023, the AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools for expanding access to Advanced Placement coursework and supporting student success.

According to College Board, “The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP programs are delivering results for students while broadening participation. Schools can earn this recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness.”

“Being named to the AP School Honor Roll for the third consecutive year is a tremendous honor for Oxford High School,” said Marni Herrington, Chief Academic Officer. “This recognition reflects the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and our district’s commitment to expanding opportunities that prepare students for college and beyond.”

Congratulations to Oxford High School on this well-deserved recognition!
