OSD Systems Administrator Selected to Present at MacAdmins Conference

Oxford School District Systems Administrator II Garrett Thorn was recently selected to present at the 2026 MacAdmins Conference held at Pennsylvania State University.

The MacAdmins Conference is one of the largest conferences for Apple device administrators and IT professionals. It brings together attendees from around the world to share practices for deploying, managing, and supporting Apple devices in education and enterprise environments.

Thorn’s presentation, “Transforming Asset Management with SwiftDialog and APIs,” showcased internal tools developed within Oxford School District while sharing practical strategies that other organizations can implement in their own environments.

Presenting at the MacAdmins was an incredible opportunity to share what our team has been building at Oxford School District. What started as a way to better serve our own students and staff has grown into something that can help school districts and organizations across the country, Thorn said. It was incredibly rewarding to represent Oxford School District on such a big stage and highlight the innovative work our department is doing to improve the experience for our students, staff, and families.
