OSD Hosts Inaugural Mississippi K-12 Personnel Administrators Leadership Summit

Oxford, Mississippi — Last week, the Oxford School District proudly hosted the inaugural Mississippi K-12 Personnel Administrators Leadership Summit, bringing together human resources and personnel professionals from 19 school districts across the state.
The free summit was designed to provide practical, job-aligned professional development that attendees could take back and apply to their districts. Participants in the conference represented a variety of roles, including human resources, personnel administration, payroll, benefits, employee services, and district leadership.
Sessions centered on real-world topics, including leadership, employee support, compliance, policies, and more.
While the Oxford School District’s Human Resource and Business Office hosted the two-day event, planning the summit was a collaboration between committee members from several school districts across Mississippi.
A special thank you to founding sponsors American Fidelity and Studer Education, as well as Connie’s Chicken, Oxford Floral, University Sporting Goods, Oby’s, OHS Engineering, and Share2Care for helping make the inaugural summit possible.
Oxford School District’s Human Resources and Business Departments are grateful to all who helped bring the inaugural summit together and to the school professionals from across the state who attended.
