Director of Communications named NSPRA Emerging Leader for Southeast Region

Oxford, Mississippi — The Oxford School District is thrilled to announce that Director of Communications Jill Knox has been named the 2025-2026 National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) Emerging Leader award recipient for the Southeast Region.

This prestigious annual award recognizes outstanding school communications professionals across the United States and Canada who have five or fewer years of public relations experience and who demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovation and excellence in school public relations.

Jill Knox has elevated our district’s communication efforts in every measurable way, said Bradley Roberson, Superintendent of the Oxford School District. Her leadership, creativity, and unwavering commitment to transparency have strengthened trust between our schools and the families we serve. Being selected as the Southeast Region’s 2025-26 NSPRA Emerging Leaders Award recipient is a well-deserved honor and a reflection of the meaningful impact she is making here in Oxford.

As the Southeast Region recipient—representing Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee—Mrs. Knox’s selection reflects her dedication to effective, impactful, and thoughtful school communication.
