The Mississippi State Board of Education voted in favor of the state’s plan to improve outcomes for students in compliance with the Every Student Succeeds Act, the federal law that replaces No Child Left Behind.
The Oxford School District is partnering with the William Winter Institute of Racial Reconciliation to offer the public an opportunity to participate in the Welcome Table, a community building program designed to develop and build relationships for the common good.
Incoming Oxford School District students and their families can tour schools, visit classrooms, and meet teachers during their school’s open house event.

On Thursday, June 1, 2017, students entering grades 1-12 who are new to the Oxford School District can begin the registration process for the 2017-2018 school year.
