The discount or service must be above and beyond what is offered to the general public on a regular basis. Businesses must offer an incentive that is specific to Oxford School District employees with the incentive offered for a year. One-time promotions do not qualify.
Businesses can also submit their POWER Program incentive in writing on their company letterhead and mail their information to: Oxford School District, Attention: Communications Office, 200 Bolt Blvd., Oxford, Mississippi 38655.
There is no fee to participate in the POWER Program.
Businesses will be notified within 10 working days of their requests. The Oxford School District must approve all requests.
The Oxford School District will recognize POWER Partners in the POWER Partners Directory and in the district employee newsletter, and will send a Power Partner sticker to all participating businesses for display in their business window.
School officials will renew POWER Partner agreements with participating businesses annually in the month of June.
Individual representatives and home-based businesses are not eligible for the POWER Program.
How the POWER Program Works for Teachers and School Support Staff
The Oxford School District POWER Program is offered only for current school district employees.
In order to benefit, eligible employees must present their Oxford School District employee identification badge to the participating POWER Partner business.
