2025 Teacher Innovation Grants
Proposals Due: January 20, 2026
The grant process:
- OSDF opens grant applications December 1, 2025. Download the PDF application here.
- Teacher discusses with principal to confirm that no other funds in the school budget will be committed to purchase the requested materials.
- Teacher completes the PDF application. Applicant must list all participating teachers in the attached project statement, obtain consent of all teachers listed, attach PDF files of supporting documents.
- The PDF application must then go to the school principal for approval.
- Principals complete their section on page 1 of the PDF application. If the application includes technology, it must then be forwarded to the Director of Information Technology for approval.
- After all necessary approvals re complete, the teacher must submit the full PDF application here. All applications are DUE by 4:00 p.m. on January 20, 2026.
- Applicants will receive a confirmation email once the application has been received.
- The OSDF Board makes funding decisions. OSDF announces pending award decisions to all applicants early February.
- OSDF submits a list of funded proposals to the OSD school board for approval to transfer funds for purchasing of approved items during the February board meeting. All grant recipients will be asked to attend the February board meeting for recognition.
- Awardees will receive instructions for purchasing once the OSD board approves the funds.
- Awardees must purchase and receive materials through OSD by the last teacher work day of the school year.
