Each lift is judged by three judges to determine whether the lift is performed correctly or scratched for a number of reasons. Each competitor also earns points based on where they finish in their individual weight class to contribute to the team total. First place points (7), second place points (5), third place points (3), fourth place points (2) and fifth place points (1). The team with the highest total wins as a team.
