Orchestra is a performance-based class which includes violin, viola, cello, and string bass students. Students typically begin in the 6th grade, and continue playing through 12th grade and beyond! Our educational track instructs students in the basics of music, learning to read notation, and performing advanced repertoire. Orchestra students perform music from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary periods, along with popular music selections.
