Program Description
Accelerated Reader Accelerated Reader (AR) is a program designed to get your child reading and to help them grow in their reading level and comprehension.
After-School Care The YMCA of Memphis & The Midsouth provides the Afterschool Care program for families in the Oxford School District. The YMCA provides these services on the campuses of Bramlett Elementary, Central Elementary, Della Davidson Elementary, Oxford Intermediate School.
Learning Garden The Learning Garden offers Della Davidson Elementary students an outdoor area to grow and learn more about plants and our environment.
Most Improved Each nine weeks, teachers select one student from their class for the Most Improved Award. This student is chosen based on significant academic improvement for that particular quarter. Della Davidson Elementary honors these students with a special snack and award certificate. Parents are invited to attend the ceremony.
Oasis Oasis is an after-school tutoring program designed for students who are struggling in the areas of reading and math. Students are selected based on school benchmark assessments and classroom performance.
