2026-2027

If your child will be a returning student, you can enroll your child for the 2026-2027 school year by following the two steps below.

Step 1: Register Online

Registration for students returning in the 2026-2027 school year opens online Friday, May 1, 2026 at 8 a.m.

Parents/Guardians of returning students will use the same log-in credentials (email and password) from the 2025-2026 school year.

• Our Student Registration Department offers technology support for families who need access to these services at no cost. Student Registration staff will be available to offer technical support.

Step 2: Required Documents

Required registration documents will be uploaded during the online registration process. However, returning students who had a change of address or who need an affidavit will be required to submit proofs of residency in person:

• Kindergarten Document Drop-off will be held April 27 to May 1, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the Oxford Middle School Center for Athletic Performance located at 222 Bramlett Blvd. (next to the Charger Clinic).
• Document Drop-off for returning students who had a change of address or who need an affidavit will be held June 22-26, 2026 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at the Oxford Learning Center located at 399 North 5th Street.

Required registration documents* for returning students are:

*NOTE: Any document with a P.O. box as an address will NOT be accepted by school officials.

1. Current Mississippi 121 Immunization Records are required for all 7th graders and new students. Child’s updated Mississippi 121 Immunization Record marked “requirements met for K4-6th grade attendance” or “requirements met for 7th-12th grade attendance.”
   • Where can my child get immunizations?
2. Proofs of residency are required to be submitted at the document drop-off event (date to be decided). Residency will be verified by the Student Registration Department. (View board policy JBCAA – Verification of Residence.)
   NOTE: the parent/guardian’s name and address on each of these items must be the same.
   • Any one (1) of the following documents:
     • Mortgage document from the month of or month prior to registration;
     • Property deed;
     • Property tax document for the most recent tax year;
     • Filed Homestead Exemption Application form;
     • A current apartment or home lease with an expiration date/term of agreement; or
     • Any other residency documentation that will objectively and unequivocally establish that the parent or legal guardian resides within the school district as determined by the director of student registration, superintendent, or designee.
   • AND any one (1) of the following documents:
     • Utility bill (water, gas, electricity, solid waste, TV cable, internet, or landline phone) for service in the month of or month prior to registration (outdated utility bills will not be accepted);
     • Valid Mississippi automobile registration;
     • Affidavit and/or personal visit by a designated school district official (affidavit forms are available in the Student Registration office located at Oxford Intermediate School);
     • Any other residency documentation/verification that will objectively and unequivocally establish that the parent or legal guardian resides within the school district as determined by the director of student registration, superintendent, or designee.

Registration for students new to the district in the 2026-2027 school year opens Monday, June 1, 2026, at 8 a.m.

Step 2: Required Documents

ALL new students will be required to submit proofs of residency in-person:

• Kindergarten Document Drop-off will be held April 27 to May 1, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day (location to be determined).
• Document Drop-off for all other new students will begin June 1, 2026 at the Oxford Learning Center located at 399 North 5th Street.

The Student Registration Department will verify residency for all new students.
