Student Registration
2020-2021Due to the Covid-19 closures, the Oxford School District is following state policy, and the OSD Board of Trustees has allowed adjustments to the process of collecting required documentation.
For a student to be considered enrolled in the Oxford School District, parents must complete two required steps for their children’s student registration:
- Register child for school online
- Provide required registration documents

NOTE: Students will not be offered a schedule or issued a laptop for the 2020-2021 school year until both of the above steps are complete.

NEW Students: Register for 2020-2021 School Year
NOTE: New students are those who did not attend the Oxford School District at the end of the 2019-2020 school year.
If your child will be a new student, you can enroll your child for the 2020-2021 school year by following the two steps below.
Step One: Register Online

Step Two: Submit Required Documents
Documents may be emailed to registration@oxfordsd.org, or they can be dropped off at the Registration Office located in room C-8 of the Oxford Elementary School building, 1639 HWY 30, Oxford.
If you wish to mail your proofs of residency or immunization documents via postal mail, please attach this cover sheet to your documents prior to mailing. If you fail to include this cover sheet, your student will be unidentifiable and therefore, not registered for school.
Required registration documents* for new students are:
*NOTE: Any document with a P.O. box as an address will NOT be accepted by school officials.
- Child’s original birth certificate
- Child’s updated immunization record marked “complete for school entry” (Mississippi Immunization 121 Form)
- Proofs of residency:
NOTE: the parent/guardian’s name and address on each of the below items must be the same. - Any one (1) of the following documents:
- Mortgage document
- Property deed
- Property tax
- Filed Homestead Exemption Application form
- Apartment or home lease with the expiration date
- AND any one (1) of the following documents:
- Utility bill (water, gas or electricity) should be dated in the current month or previous month at the time of drop-off. Outdated utility bills will not be accepted.
- Personal visit by a designated school district official
- Valid Mississippi Driver’s License or Mississippi Identification Card
- State or Federal document
