Auditions are required to be invited to sing with the OMS Choir.

To audition for the OMS Choir, send a voice or video recording of yourself singing "Happy Birthday" a cappella (without background music) to Dr. Hannah Ardrey at hgardrey@oxfordsd.org. Auditions are ongoing throughout the school year, but student schedules can only be adjusted at the beginning of each semester. For example, if a student auditions and is invited to join the choir in October, he or she will have to wait until the start of the next semester (January) to be placed in the class/request a schedule change.

It is preferred that students take choir for two semesters each year. However, it is perfectly fine for students to be in choir for one semester each year. Dr. Ardrey promises to do all she can to ensure all students who make choir can participate. She will work with students, parents, teachers, coaches, school counselors, and administration to help students avoid conflicts with other fine arts courses, electives, or sports during the school day so that they can participate in choir.
