Andrew Flusche Scholarship Contest
Application deadline: November 30, 2023.
Scholarship amount: $500.The Andrew Flusche Scholarship Contest requires students to raise awareness about different legal issues. Applicants must create a public service advertisement video about how to drive courteously.

Dell Scholars Program
Application opens: October 1, 2023.
Application deadline: December 1, 2023.
Scholarship amount: $20,000 as well as a laptop, textbooks, personalized support, access to teletherapy, and more.Applicants for this scholarship must be on track to graduate from an accredited high school I the current academic year and be a participant in a program-approved college readiness program in grades 11 and 12 such as AVID. Student must also demonstrate a need for financial assistance. Student must have a 2.4 GPA or higher.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation
Application deadline: December 1, 2023.
Scholarship amount: $7,500 per semester.The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free. Students must have a 3.5 cumulative grade point average and must enroll in an eligible four-year college or university following high school graduation.

Ron Brown Scholarship
Application deadline: December 1, 2023.
Scholarship amount: $40,000 awarded over 4 years.The Ron Brown Scholars Program competitively awards 45-50 four-year $40,000 ($10,000 each year) to the most talented and economically challenged high school seniors who demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship and global citizenship – the four pillars of the late Ronal H Brown’s mission to uplift people of all races, cultures, and ethnicities, especially disadvantaged youth.

Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships
Application deadline: December 5, 2023.
Scholarship amount: $5,000.The Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger recognizes student innovation and youth-led solutions to fight hunger in the U.S.

Burger King Scholars Program
Application opens: October 16, 2023.
Application deadline: December 15, 2023.
Scholarship amount: $1,000 to $50,000.The Burger King Scholars Program was created in memory of Burger King Co-Founder James “Jim” W. McLamore. Scholarships are provided to high school students and BK employees and their families. Scholarships are intended to offset the cost of attending college or post-secondary vocational/technical school. Recipients are selected through an application process that takes into consideration grade point average, work experience, extracurricular activities, and community service.

Huntington’s College Scholarship Sweepstakes

Scholarship amount: $4,000.This scholarship contest is for college-bound students. Simply submit the official entry form by the deadline date.

Yolanda and Sam Shuster Scholarship

Scholarship amount: $1,500.This scholarship aims to support first-generation Americans who need assistance to pursue higher education in order to create a better life for themselves and their families.

Taco Bell Live Mas Scholarship
Application deadline: January 3, 2024.
Scholarship amount: Up to $25,000.The Live Mas Scholarship is not based on your grades or how well you play sports. No essays, no test scores, no right or wrong answers. They are looking for the next generation of innovators and dreamers. Applicants will need to submit a video that tells the story of their life’s passion.

GE- Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program
Application deadline: January 4, 2024.
Scholarship amount: Up to $40,000.Honoring the legacy and character of our nation’s 40th President, the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program rewards college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education.

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship
Application deadline: January 10, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $30,000.To be eligible for the Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship, the applicant must be a graduating minority high school senior. The student must provide evidence of financial need, and demonstrate a record of academic excellence. The applicant must plan to attend an accredited and approved 4-year college.

Scholarship amount: $5,000.Alexander was an ardent supporter of education, believing that education creates opportunity for growth and positive change. “A Bold Life” No-Essay Scholarship
Application deadline: February 1, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $10,000.To encourage people to create an adventurous and exciting life as they define it, the “A Bold Life” No-Essay Scholarship exists to support a student who will do what it takes to live life to the fullest. The scholarship is open to all students from any field of study. The only requirement is the commitment to overcoming fear and relentlessly pursuing a life that will leave you fulfilled.

Carl’s Music Matters Scholarship
Application deadline: February 20, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $500.This scholarship aims to encourage high school students to pursue music so they can achieve their creative goals. Any high school senior who is an aspiring musician may apply for this scholarship by submitting a short video.

Scholars Helping Collars Scholarship
Application opens: September 1, 2023.
Application deadline: February 26, 2024.
Scholarship amount: Up to $1,500.The Scholars Helping Collars Scholarship is available to high school seniors. To be considered, you must submit an essay detailing your volunteer efforts to help animals in need, and how that involvement has changed your life or shaped your perceptions on the importance of animal welfare.

Blacks at Microsoft Scholarship
Application opens: January 22, 2024.
Application deadline: March 13, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $20,000.Blacks at Microsoft (BAM) is a company-sponsored employee network dedicated to supporting the continued growth and development of black employees at Microsoft Corporation. Applicants must be high-school seniors of African descent and must plan to attend a four-year college or university and plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, computer information or select business programs.

Horatio Algers Scholarship Program – National Scholarship
Application opens: December 1, 2023.
Application deadline: March 15, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $25,000.The Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans is dedicated to the simple but powerful belief that hard work, honesty, and determination can conquer all obstacles. As such, the Association honors the achievements of outstanding individuals in our society who have succeeded in spite of adversity.

Shell Technical Scholarship and Shell Incentive Fund Scholarship
Application deadline: March 15, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $2,500.The Shell Technical Scholarship and Shell Incentive Fund Scholarship was created to provide financial and career assistance to graduating high school seniors who have expressed an interest in the energy industry and demonstrated an aptitude in mathematics and science.

AFSA High School Essay Contest
Application deadline: April 1, 2024.
Scholarship amount: Up to $2,500.The AFSA High School Essay Contest is open to high school students. To be considered, applicants must write an essay identifying how members of the foreign service work with other civilian parts of the U.S. government to promote peace, national security, and economic prosperity.

The American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship Program

Scholarship amount: varies.Talk your way to college! The American Legion, Department of Mississippi, is sponsoring a “Constitutional Speech Contest”. Students in grades 9-12 are eligible to participate.

The Barron Prize
Application deadline: April 15, 2024.
Scholarship amount: $10,000.The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes celebrates inspiring, public-spirited young people from diverse backgrounds all across North America. Each year, the Barron Prize honors 25 outstanding young leaders ages 8 to 18 who have made a significant positive difference to people and the environment.

Mississippi Construction Education Foundation / Mississippi State Board of Contractors Scholarship
Application deadline: April 19, 2024.
Scholarship amount: Up to $500.This scholarship is open to seniors eligible to graduate and on track to enroll and be accepted in a construction or manufacturing-related degree program in a SACS-accredited community college, four-year college or university, or MCEF apprenticeship program.

Alys Robinson Stephens Alumni
Application deadline: varies.
Scholarship amount: one-time $1,000 award.To be eligible for the Alys Robinson Stephens Performing Arts Scholarship, applicants must be high school seniors/ graduates and accepted to UAB. There are no applications for this scholarship: via audition and testing, the student must prove to be of substantial talent and show promise for continued excellence in music.

Professional Tennis Management Scholarships
Application deadline: varies.
Scholarship amount: two $10,000 awards.The USTA Foundation offers a scholarship targeting those High School seniors who exhibit a passion for tennis and plan on seeing a Professional Tennis Management degree at one of the schools offering this program.

Rust College Honor Track Scholarship
Application deadline: varies.
Scholarship amount: $50,000.The Honors Track Scholarship offers full academic scholarship to first-time freshmen only. Applicants must rank in the top 10% of their high school graduating class and have a minimum 3.5 GPA. Accepted students must maintain a 3.5 GPA while at Rust. Applicants must also have a minimum score of 22 on the ACT or 1030 on the SAT.

Scholarship amount: Full tuition in addition to allowances for books and fees. Students are also eligible for a monthly living stipend. -
BigFuture Scholarships
Application deadline: Ongoing.
Scholarship amount: Varying.There are no essay, minimum GPA, test score, or citizenship requirements. It’s easy to enter scholarship drawings each month. Simply complete one of the steps before the deadline, and you’ll be automatically entered to win $500 and $40,000! Students whose families earn less than $60,000 a year have extra chances at scholarships because they’re eligible for two entries in each drawing.

Children of Fallen Patriots Scholarship

Scholarship amount: Varying amounts. Read the site's FAQs for details on how much the organization provides and what expenses are covered.This scholarship works to ensure that every child of a fallen patriot receives all necessary college funding. They are dedicated to serving the families of services members from all branches of the armed forces who have died as a result of combat casualties, military training accidents, serve related illnesses, suicide, as well as other duty related deaths as ruled by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
