Required Summer Assignment: AP Spanish

In order to maintain Spanish skills over the summer, aspiring AP Spanish Spanish students need to do something related to Spanish on a weekly basis over the summer. Therefore, I am requiring them to complete the assignments below that focus on comprehension and vocabulary. There will be a test on the stories and all assigned vocab when students return to school. Beyond the reading, I encourage students to listen to music in Spanish and use Spanish in any way they can (text/facebook a friend in Spanish/ Spanglish, talk to yourself in Spanish, etc. Also, itunes has various free podcasts with beginner and intermediate Spanish lessons.
