Mrs. Carol Trott

My mission is for students to learn about and appreciate the art of music. While not all students will go on to become performers of music, I hope that my students will become supporters of the musical arts in their own community as adults.

This year will be my 22nd year as a music educator. (Year 12 in the Oxford School District).   I have taught in Oklahoma, Virginia, and Mississippi.  I grew up in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma.  I completed my Master's Degree at Ole Miss, and I am a National Board Certified Teacher.  I moved to Mississippi in 2002.  My husband is the Director of Choral Activities at Ole Miss.  I have two children who attend Ole Miss.

I like to read, paint, watch movies and listen to music.  My favorite foods are coffee, chocolate, Mike & Ike candy, and chips/salsa.  I have a gluten allergy (which mean's I can't eat donuts, cookies or cupcakes).
