• Statement of Authority of Principal

    The principal is the designated leader of the school and, with the staff, is responsible for its orderly operations. And, while the disposition ranges outlined in this brochure will be followed under normal circumstances.

    For acts of student misconduct not specifically covered in the procedures set forth in this brochure, the principal is authorized to enact corrective disciplinary measures after meeting with the schools’ at-risk team which they feel is in the best interest of the school and student(s) involved. Such acts, by way of illustration, include, but are not limited to, violations of local school rules, violations of state or federal law, involvement in gang/hate related behavior, hazing, use of chemical defense sprays, possession of laser pointers, providing false information to school personnel, academic dishonesty, or any other act which is subversive to good order and discipline in the school.
