To qualify to register for the Oxford School District’s Pre-K Program, students must be four years old on or before September 1, 2021, and live in the Oxford School District. If your child meets these two qualifications, you can click here to view more information on how to register your child for pre-K. Bramlett Pre-K will have 11 classrooms and accept 200 students for the 2021-2022 school year.
Priority is given to demonstrated academic need as determined by a developmentally appropriate screening and financial need as demonstrated on the federal lunch application completed by a parent/guardian. Parents are not required to submit financial information if they do not wish to be prioritized for enrollment based on financial need. By submitting their financial snapshot on the lunch application, parents agree that they are reporting honest and accurate information stating: “I am aware that if I purposely give false information, I may be prosecuted under applicable State and Federal laws.” Federal law requires the district to verify a percentage of income information reported on the federal lunch application each year.
In the weeks following online registration, teachers screen all students who apply for pre-K at Bramlett Elementary School. Parents or guardians bring their children to the school and wait while teachers assess the children.
*NOTE: Oxford School District employees’ immediate children are given waitlist priority. Grandchildren and extended family are not eligible for this benefit. Employees are required to go through the full pre-K enrollment process.
