In the event that a student is absent from school, a parent or guardian must notify the school in writing using the printable “Parental Excuse for Unexpected Absences” form for the absence to be considered excused.

All other absences require medical or legal documentation to be submitted to the school attendance office. Documentation must be submitted within three (3) days of when the student returns to school for the absence to be considered excused. If parental, legal or medical documentation is not presented as required, the absence shall be considered unexcused.
