Welcome to Oxford High School for the 2016-2017 school year. We anticipate another outstanding year. The OHS faculty is excited to meet the incoming freshmen class as well as our returning sophomores, juniors and seniors. Oxford High School has always been a dynamic place for learning. The Oxford Chargers lead the way in their class with the 2017 5A All-Sports Award, an honor awarded to Mississippi high schools recognized for having students who excel athletically.
The Mississippi State Board of Education voted in favor of the state’s plan to improve outcomes for students in compliance with the Every Student Succeeds Act, the federal law that replaces No Child Left Behind.
The Oxford School District is partnering with the William Winter Institute of Racial Reconciliation to offer the public an opportunity to participate in the Welcome Table, a community building program designed to develop and build relationships for the common good.
